Enjoy our home as yours for a break away. Built on 27 acres with the beautiful Thornton beach as the front boundary.

Amazing views from big windows and doors over the ocean and islands - Raurimus, Whakaari (White) and Moutohora (Whale).

Plenty of room for parking and room for boat to park at bottom of drive.

Walk through property to beach (about a 5 minute stroll through the paddocks with horses and sheep, or bring your quad bike.

Lovely open plan home with lots of space - room for 2 families. (Not so suitable for infants/toddlers due to bunk beds and decks - see photos).

Three large bedrooms and a rumpus room with two built in bunk beds, sleeping 10 in total. One main bathroom and ensuite in main room. Extra toilet in the washhouse and outdoor shower.

Large sliding doors along front of home opening onto large deck - with table and seating. Outdoor covered dining/BBQ area with a bar table and chairs, with night time lighting as you enjoy the sun setting over ocean.

Only a couple of minutes down road to the Thornton boat ramp, beach is well known for contiki and surfcasting, bring the catch home and prep your catch in the fish filleting station. Wash off in the outdoor shower.

Dogs welcome - outside only - kennels provided.

Whakatane township is 15 mins drive, with nice berry farms between the house and Whakatane (Julians Berry Farm, Blueberry Corner). The Red Barn Bakery just down the road, and great fish and chips 5 minutes away in Matata.

A great place to enjoy the beauty of nature and recharge and reconnect.
